Here here,
my trick is to put my finger on my my skull and try to pinpoint the provenience of the pain,
once I locate it, I imagine my finger is now a lightsaber and that I'm destroying the cause of the pain.
it usually smooth it down enough for me to forget it untill I realize it still hurt,
maybe it is because I press hard enough on my skull, so it diverts the pain away...
