Sorry to burst your bubble but companies like that aren't exactly bringing new and sustainable business to Detroit or any of the surrounding areas. I'm glad they're able to make a buck off of the dying giant but lets face it - they come in, take what they need and get the fuck out.
Detroit recently has been praised as this DIY paradise for hipsters and artist-types alike but the fact is virtually all of those people are doing nothing to bring more money into the city and it's suburbs. They come in, scrape on by through low-rent housing and cheap living and move on to the next hipster commune eventually.
Gah.. now i'm ranting...
