    It was a good game overall. Both teams showed some good moments and that they still have room to grow and improve. Remember the first WC game is always tough, and now that it is out of the way, they will face Algeria and Slovenia with more confidence.

    Why are Americans happy? Remember 80% of them have no clue what they are watching or talking about, so to them not loosing = good, specially because they were fed a 'rivalry' with the English team on US networks. Ask the brits if they are happy with a tie....

    I was split, I really want to see England go far since I've always been a fan, and as a football fan, I enjoy watching the strength, discipline and effort of the US team, and think they have grown over the years and are ready to move forward and do better. Not a bad result for them and I still believe both teams will make it to the next round.
