Forget who's right or wrong here. In general, if you try to "piggyback" off what another company is doing, you set yourself up for a fall whenever they decide they don't like what you're doing.
Look at what happened with all the third party Twitter developers now that Twitter bought the Tweet iPhone app and are going to dominate that space themselves.
- But in this case if people made thousands of apps, and they are sold in the app store - surely apple benefits anyway?tOki
