@nb - I have also heard good things about Fido's plans and service. However, even though owned by Rogers, from what I understand they don't have access to their full network, and its useless outside city centres. That's an issue as Rogers lack of representation in Atlantic Canada is a reason I am considering the switch and going to an even smaller network won't help.
@neferiu - Any issues at peak times with no fallback network (edge)? I am concerned that when its more congested in a couple years it will be a nightmare as more customers change from CDMA to 3G.
