  Is there an estimate of actual hours the project may take?
  You say thinks like 'Research'. Well depending on what you are researching it could be 2 hours, it could be 20 hours. How can we offer anything without some actual info?

  How much experience do you have? Any outsourcing? Other contractors? Any legal requirements dealing with such a large company? Do you have/need liability insurance?

  Do you want hourly or day rates, or are you looking at the whole project? Are you estimating only or providing a committed project cost?
