    I understand jquery's purpose and I do appreciate it's advantages; the issue I'm having is it only includes about half the things I would want to use so I would still be bringing in external plugins, Also, I have found many of it's functions are done better by others.

    As far as downloading a giant library I would only be compiling the plugins I used for each site. Whether it 3 or 30 plugins that's all I would compile.

    So again if you could post your favorites it would be appreciated.
