  What is it that you love in 1Ds that your 30D doesn't have? I mean, picture-wise.
  It's probably a similar difference there is between 5D and 7D.

  7D is a direct upgrade from 30D. My bet is it probably was codenamed 60D and rebadged to single-digit to appeal to the pros better.

  • Direct upgrade meaning coming from the same product line, there was 40D and 50D between them of course.raf
