Wow. I definitely didn't mean to offend anyone by posting this and apologize if I did. It really reminds me how diverse this forum is. And while I whole-heartedly believe diversity is a great thing for design/development communities, it teaches you that you need to be extra-cautious of being offensive to different cultures or dispositions.

Other than the diversity here, the one thing I love about QBN is how broad the topics, mindsets, critiques and opinions are. I could post something for feedback and get such a great cross-section of the world -- albeit a creative one. This is wonderful for viral campaign concepting to see how it will impact people of different cultures, or logotype creation where local, arcane brands may infringe on copyrights.

So we're faced with the dilemma of posting and offending, or tempering and attaining a less authentic reaction. I totally respect sublocked's opinion. I daresay most of my relatives would react similarly. Most importantly, I think it's noble that he stepped up and said something. And that most of you, good or bad, were authentic in your replies. While it's easier on anonymous internet sites, it still takes conviction to post contrasting opinions. Or emotional ones. Or heart-felt ones. Or dissentive ones. I know this place is prone to derision. But it's also prone to honesty. And that's what keeps me coming back.

    So thanks, everyone.
