i'll stop now, but also, tell her to buy herself an ipod or similar and start subscribing to some PR podcasts, there's some amazing views and info going for free through the itunes podcasts section. the key (as we all know in this media age) is that it's all just opinion and what is considered a good or bad idea can suddenly become the next best or worst thing so the more ideas – and more importantly case studies and experiences – are a great way to learn.
