I'm sure you got some similar emails from other email addresses, that is because your job posting has spread around the internet like a wildfire. Yes, the same internet that was built by the web designers that you are looking to hire. I have a sneaking suspicion that you won't find many web designers applying for your job, at least none worth much. So if mediocrity is what you're striving for then you'll probably find a heaping pile of it. But rest assured you won't find a single "professional".
By the way you used "your" improperly in YOUR last response, the correct use would be "just don't think YOU'RE a designer!"
