$250 too much for bad logo?

I think $250 is fine for what you've done though I hope you threw out just as many logos before showing these ones (and I'm worried you may not have considering the inclusion of the dreaded brush script ;) ). Usually I'll design around 20-50 logos at least in rough stage and refine from there to show a range of styles but still trying to keep quality up. the number you show depends on how you can best sell yourself and can vary from logo to logo or client to client I find.
I don't mind the circled mountains even if done before but I think the 2nd bamboo shows promise. Don't be scared to make the text below it much wider than the circle - its pretty bold so it can go much smaller. Try an all caps with a crapload of kerning and see what happens.
