i bought a single speed for the riding to and from work. it's flat. don't need gears. it's actually a flip-flop. i tried it out fixie and it was fun, for a bit. just something new. it can fuck up your knees after a while i've heard and i'm getting enough knee problems from soccer, so i'll be sticking with the single speed.
- I had a messed up knee and riding the fixed hub actually helped it healbilll
