    I've only just started playing in both. MudBox seemed a bit more straightforward. I had that demon head sculpted within 20 minutes of an intro to the tools and interface from a very basic featureless head shape. It's also way more compatible with Maya in terms of workflow.
    ZBrush on the other hand is way more convoluted and robust. It's pretty tricky. But once you get involved, you can't help but love it.
    I don't know enough about each to say, but I'm looking forward to learning more of each.
