Indigo vs. spot colors

    There won't be a problem with matching the pantones. Indigo presses are very high-quality. My issue is that there won't be solid color on the sheet like you would get with spot colors. Instead, it will be mixtures of dots, which is not the same. The color will technically be spot on, but the 'feel' of it is different. Of course, no one will notice but me, I'm sure...

    • are any of your colors "iffy" like this? do you have the flexibility (design wise) to modify any iffy colors? i'd be more than happy to look at & give my opinion if you want...loop
    • Not sure, none have a tint higher than 65% though...duckofrubber
    • i don't think that would matter as much as the specific end color you are trying to achieve. my problem gold was a pretty strong color - just not ideal in dots...loop
