    I think you are half right. We absolutely do need more transparency in business and government. We all know that. You have to do quite a bit of digging to find the truth, and most people don't have the time or desire to do that. Your problem is that your arrogance and cynicism have led you to believe that all people fall in either the 'evil-doing conspiracy' category or the 'brainless victim' category.

    You leave out the fact that most people generally try to be good, and that most people involved in green/sustainable organizations ARE fighting for the right kinds of change. One such person is Alex Steffen of Worldchanging.com.
