    meh, the earthquake thing is kind of overblown. It's really not like much gets damaged except for property during an earthquake. Sure people do die but you've got better odds of winning he lottery. As monospaced said, I'd be much more worried about living somewhere with hurricanes and tornados. Wildfires too, unless you're on the edge of any of the cities you'd likely never even notice a wildfire. I'm pretty far north as 'LA' goes and we had a fire pretty close to us last year so I did notice it. One morning I went out and the sky was yellow and it was really hard to breathe. But I was about a mile from the fire.
