  Actually, the 'Scary' in my previous post comes from the projection in evolution of this tech. We could be witnessing the birth of a full-spectrum orbital energy-projection device. That energy projection could be in the form of narrowcast radio waves for energy transmission.. to factories, government or homes. Or, weapon systems. Imagine a remote-energy-powered ship, plane or dirigible. Imagine hyper-charged capacitors in space, readying to power a laser that could cut put a spot of sun-surface-like heat on a person, a plane, a missile, a government. No Radiation. No shell casings.

  Lasers and radio waves are instant and invisible.
  The ultimate in plausible deniability.

  The future's a scary place.
