When ever we send out any proposals, we send them printed hard copies. 2 is standard for us. We send ours in book form. We also send a pdf after they have received the hard copy to review during meetings and so everyone involved has a copy.
Tangible stuff is good for the client to get a hold of. Even more when you are proposing web or interactive projects. If the final product isn't tangible, something should be.
