Well, at long last, it's done. My girlfriend and I were talking about something that was rather trivial, but for some reason, she kept acting like a pissy brat, and it occured to me what a monumental waste of time this was. I can't force this woman to communicate with me, and really, I shouldn't have to. If she wants to behave like a child, she can do it on somebody else's dime. So, we're through.
Thanks to everybody for their thoughtful advice and suggestions. This has not been easy (I imagine the real shitty part is still to come), but talking it through on here has helped.
Oh, incedentally, while on the way to an appt with our relationship counsellor, I got to talking to this VERY hot internal medicine Dr. She asked me out for drinks, and while I told her I was in a relationship and couldn't, I think I may eventually need to run into hot, rich, doctor lady again!! (and the circle of life continues). Hahaha
