Plus, (I meant to post in this thread after crimbo but never got around to it) I got Mirrors Edge, Resistance 2 and Wipeout (as above) for christmas, so I didn't really talk to anyone or see sunlight for the holidays.
Mirrors Edge kinda hooked me. I didn't want it at all after seeing the ads but its pretty cool, though it does induce quite a sickening feeling when you fall off a building and the sound of the character hitting the ground is horrible. One thing though, I wouldn't advise playing it while either drunk or hungover cos it nearly made me puke when the room is spinning and everythign is rushing past you. Oh, even the thoughts of it now...
