Is GT5 out, this is the only reason I am going to buy a PS3.

GT5 Prologue is out... not the full game. 8 tracks, 60+ cars, blah blah. Good intro to the full thing, cheap too - picked it up for £18 in UK.

I got one about 2 weeks ago with GTA 4. So far thats all I got. just ordered a wireless modem so I can go online, still waiting for it to arrive.
Ive heard good things about the 'Orange Box' which has 5 games (all older though) for about 60 euro, anyone play em? Any use?
- HL2, HL2 EP1, HL2 EP2, Team Fortress 2 and Portals ALL rock.– YAYPaul1/5

Just fininshed playing Drakes fortune, a good game lovely graphics but you feel very restricted to certain routes etc.
Also just completed Resistance fall of man. By far the best game I have ever played. An epic firt person shooter where you finger is rarely off the trigger! Mental game
Orange box too. Thats got a great set of games, never played hapf life 2 the first time around so it was great to play it now. What an amazing game.
Colin McRae, if you like those typr of games is great, lovely graphics nut very poor multiplayer and it get slightly boring after while.
Last but not least. Just downloaded the Grid demo. Another car game by codemasters ( colin McRae ) This rocks so far!
Anyone know any other FPS games that are mad ass mental like Resistance fall of man?

Devil May Cry 4 was nice (solid graphics and gameplay)... Skate is sweet if you are into sk8boarding... But Grand Theft Auto takes the cake... A super cheap blu-ray player is also nice when you buy a PS3, as in your getting one from the get-go (shame on xbox 360 and their hd-dvd)...

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed comes out in September too.
Even if you're not a SW fan this game looks great from a mechanics point of view. Check out some vids.

GTA IV Tip:
If you kill a Flying Rat during the course of the game's story missions, note it's position on the map or you'll be sorry.
Don't do what I did and try to get them all according to online location maps, realising out you've missed one at no. 197 and have to spend hours searching all 200 locations over again.

I've got a 360 and the only reason I'd get a PS3 is for MGS4, that game looks incredible. Played all the old ones as far back as MGS on the PS, all of which, bloody awesome.

I just got GTA 4, first time really playing anything from that series. It's pretty entertaining, but having no clue about it, I've found myself obeying lights and stuff getting around at first... i'm a bit more aggressive now, but I think I can do a lot more then just going on tasks. But it's a fun game, that's for sha'
