still coding in AS1?... how long as AS3 been out? more than a year? Also, if you have ever worked with AFX you can see that the timeline is the same as the new Flash Timeline so there is not a huge learning curve for that.
Just talk to beta testers for the adobe product (close beta that is), you have to play with software that is not released to the public yet and you are expected to test it as if it was in production mode. Can everyone do it? of course not, that is why the beta testing is just for certain individuals and not everyone is invited. Just imagine, people were testing AS3 months before people even know there was going to be a switch, people were testing the timeline behavior of CS4 before you even know it existed. :)
