  i am out, but to leave you with a bit more info...

  i have not had a look at your portfolio, or do i know your skill level (or the skill-level they are looking for), and speaking from my own point-of-view, i would think this approach is bullshit. your portfolio should speak volumes, first and foremost. if they are intrigued by your portfolio, then they should bring you in to talk with someone (or at least an over the phone conversation).

  that being said, i have had to go through this type of test before. it was for my first internship while in college. i "passsed" it, and was brought on the team within 3 months.

  is this for an internship? i doubt it. but if so, do the test. if not, you know the answer.
