Wordpress Template Question

    Hello again,
    I have another question... So I have just (for the first time) looked at the the WP control panel. I have clicked on Appearance > CSS Editor and have found out you have to pay for the privilege... now this isn't a probablem but will the CSS I create write over the top of the CSS in the template or will it create a new stylesheet altogether, i.e how does it work.

    Also If I hit preview can I be assured this will not be a live amend but a temporary file... somewhere?
