    I still think it's a complete failure. Why? Because in my experience it's a perfect example of design by committee, and a perfect illustration of why designers should be trusted to do their job. It's utterly aimless and in no way, which ever way I look at it, does it say anything about the city in which I live.

    Just look at it and honestly tell me you can't see Sebastian Coe and his cronies sticking their orb in, believing that they know best. That is what this logo represents.
