(Please note that Halal status is based on absence of any processing aid ingredients or hidden ingredients. Food products in European countries may contain up to 20% undeclared food ingredients. But laws are changing at the end of this year to declare all the ingredients in a food product. The Mushbooh food products have to be under "Suitable for vegetarian" label but without alcohol in flavors and without use of alcohol in spice extraction. The Halal status of McDonald's UK products are based on the ingredients list provided by McDonald on their British web site.
