    My major hang up with the movie was the ending, which was rewritten from the original. So as not to spoil it, I'll bitch over there ->

    • The book had them get the fuck out of dodge and take control of their own destiny, same as the movie.blaw
    • However, in the book they started picking up radio stations, etc., and left you with the "we're not out of the ...blaw
    • ...woods yet" feeling, but with a lot of hope. Enough to drive home the point: Don't get forced around by other ...blaw
    • ...people's madness." In this, the whole, "everyone's dead! fuck you, you blew it!" take pissed me off.blaw
    • And then it was rushed (immediately there are troops, etc. around), because it would've taken a while to ...blaw
    • ... set that up properly. A chance to send a solid message and they blew it, I say.blaw
    • i totally agree. Though, I haven't read the book (i will now). The ending was very weak...OnesandZeros
