Thats cool I can see that but let me explain. The dots are a secondary navigation to show the growth of the site.

The dots at the top of the page represent students that have registered for OCAD Archive. As the site grows and more people register the circles will begin to construct the logo. The color of the circle represents the program enrollment as well as signifying that a recent update has been made to that portfolio. Over a week the color of each circle will fade to white and will stop moving if updates are not made. So each year at this time the circles will become active as new students begin adding work, showing visually the activity on the site.

    • byut that is still mystery-meat navigation. try again.jaylarson
    • Yes you are right it is mystery meat navigation but I would argue that its primary function is visualization of data on the site growth and activity. There are 2 other sources of primary navigation.Garus
