It's not very professional of them to have a kid poking around on a business machine, but it's their company, their machine, and their risk.
In my opinion, you're way too possessive of someone else's stuff.

- I've worked places where I had to contact IT to install a typeface, so locked down were the machines. No sweat to me.blaw
