his method:
"i used aluminum as the covers and then shear all the pages to be an 1/8 inch shorter on the end and two sides. then i use a couple c clamps to clamp it off the edge of a table a bit and apply a crap load of binders glue. you can get this at dick blick or art mart or michaels. once i have about 4 or 5 coats on i use a vinyl tape and just cut the edges off with a straight edge. these photos are of one that i used brushed aluminum for the covers and i used metal tape to cover the binding. a cool idea, but the tape is a bitch to work with and not as strong as the vinyl."
