omg here's a weird one, i was in southend with my dad (who is white, my mum is asian so i'm mixed up) for a funeral.
some of dad's friends from childhood were there, nearly all of them are brilliant but one of them (not a good friend), after i said who my dad was, a weird look went over his face, he said, "OH I see, yes I remember his wife, haha I thought..." and then he trailed off. And then i realised he thought that because i was asian, i was wife number 2! marrying an old white man, cos that's what south-east asian girls do haha! ewwwww.
