On the one hand that's skileld hand labour, so 'quite high', but on the other, it doesn't sound exactly like the kind of thing that would pay massively well.
Are the maps creative in any way? ie are they commissioning you for the way you will add your style to their maps, or are they commissioning you becuase you are a capable draughtsman who will faithfully reproduced the maps the way they need them?
Makes a difference becuase the former should be paid as illustration and the latter as draughstmanship.
