    I agree, these logos look like there are some good starting points. The glow needs to be removed. Take a look at other brands and take cues from timeless masters like Saul Bass, Milton Glaser, Herb Lubalin, etc to see what effective logos are doing well. Often it means the most simple solution or finding a visual pun within the name, or type lock up. Be very mindful of your kerning. I've noticed already in your studies the huuuuge gap within your "A" and "W". Remember that your kerning is key. If the selected logo gets blown up large, those gaps are magnified.
