guys... as long as there are designers willing to work for 65/h on hourly bases and committing to 4hhs/ comp... graphic designers will never make any money... its ok to do maintenance at cost and materials rate... but original design? you need to explore it.. you need to take your time with templates... set up grids... colors... all in 4hhs per comp? ridiculous. i dont really do freelance as much as i used to but i choose my projects wisely.. i prefer quoting anything over 3-4 Gs.... please.. quote 8hhs at least per concept... thats design time... no exporation.. image research... checking out the competition... cmon! review time... edits... you can easily boast your hhs.
