"Just look at the contradicting descriptions of the nature of God(s)"

again, human descriptions are open to error...the differences are created by human description.

For sure, but we can't all be right. You yourself admit that human knowledge is limited and our comprehension of things is often flawed.

That being said...what if there is an actual God-breathed scripture that just so happened to be delivered by people? Authored by God, penned by human beings.

I'm a firm believer that God speaks through many mediums, really whatever conduit he chooses. In my opinion Scripture is his modus operandi, the essential stuff, the basics, the Things Not To Be Forgotten or Disobeyed. Anything else is bonus revelation and is usually more open to interpretation—nonetheless I think he's still speaking. Through nature, through people, through mathematics, through physics, through the innate creative desire that lives in every one of us and through suffering and joy. Most of us just don't see or refuse to credit the source of that still small voice.
