    tank02, points for honesty.

dobs, I've spent my whole life questioning my religion and every other. I am certainly open to questions, which is why I do my best to answer you and others on here. It's the notion of absolute truth that you don't want to buy, which is understandable because it suddenly gives one far fewer paths to knowing God than people would like to have.

ethered, I really don't believe that we all follow the same God who happens to have a myriad different names. Just look at the contradicting descriptions of the nature of God(s) from Islam to Christianity to Hinduism to Mystic Paganism (Neo-Druidic, earth worship etc.) The way each faith fundamentally defines Deity is radically different from one camp to another, creating irreconcilable differences.

Thus, there is just no way that we are all on the right path. It's impossible: theologically, logically, morally and spiritually untenable.
