"OK, so we're settled then. We draw the line at the human eye."

    "Aye"

    "Aye"

"I mean we already conceded that the Universe is fantastically complex, and huge, and furthermore that the earth does in fact revolve around the sun in an intricate complex orbital dynamic with a host of other planets."

    "Aye, we did..."

"And that those twinkly bits in the sky, those are other sun-like objects which burn with a complex process of hydrogen fission. We gave them that."

    "Aye."

"And, to be nice we even let them have evolution up to a certain point."

    "Aye."

"But the human eye, that my friends is where we draw the line. It is far more complex than anything else in the visible universe and it alone is all the proof we need that the magical invisible all powerful being we call God who hasn't talked to us in millenia, although he did talk to our anscestors and was friendly enough with them to meander around a garden chatting with them in the twilight and we know that cause it's written here in this book which of all other books is the only one that tells the truth, it's all the proof we need that we are right."

"Aye. The eye it is. They can't have the eye!"

"The eye!! THE EYE!! God bless the EYE!!"

    "Agreed..."

    "To the pub then..."
