  ok I looked into it and I have now a better definition of my problem. Which I guess is a good step towards a solution.

  Basically I have now a score of 11 pages, with illustrations on the facing pages. the thing is the score turns out too small, barely readable.
  so what i need to do is reduce the spacing so that the same amount of notes are on each page , but that they take up less space (horizontally). Then the page turns are safe. Then i could blow them up since they are less wide and everything would be more legible.

  The composer is using 'encore'
