Plenty of reasons.
We were almost to the point of only testing web development for one browser.
Microsoft is bad or worse than someone else in just about everything, but IE on a Mac is a great piece of software.
In some cases, everyone using the same thing is a good thing.
and Mirosoft IS evil (not quotes) for being so arrogant in their inferiority that the push standards and proprietary crap on everyone because they can so we can have wonderful software like PowerPoint and Word. They monopolize the market and make claims like the browser is part of the operating system. It's not "whining" to have a grudge against something that sucks.
