tough to say - depending on were you are some product lines may be harding to find than others
i really like dyna lights - high quality small and very light weight. and i've yet to see a dyna light kit die. their a little on the more expensive side of things, but worth it

these suckers are dirt cheap - but are kind of junky. i know a few people who have them and say they work okay - but they do have a shorter life span.best thing to do is visit your local shops. i don't recomend buying on line. ALL strobes will die\need servicing, so getting them from a local shop will save you alot of trouble when that time comes....
