i dont think u have to make grids in increments (graph paper style)
draw a column, and then make the next coloumn the same size or directly porportional to the first (half, 2/5, etc) being a print designer i have weird habits of designing websites (apart from my folio) as i would design spreads - (3-6 colums, chunky gutter ragged right etc)
i think if u were to use the same gird for every website the pages would become a bit too contrived where as making each page a totally different grid gives it a feel of its own
does this even make sense.. aah fuck it
