interesting work. if you want my humble opinion, your site would look a heck of a lot better on just a white background without the cardboard. not sure that it gels very well put with your illustration? think it would look a lot cleaner/tighter without it. if you do keep the cardboard though i would look at the image quality, looks kinda blurry on my screen.
also, i would push the title to the top right, maybe the left but not centralised - a centralised title in a side column just looks a bit wrong to my eye
