1st site
for me, the typography and copy writing is letting the site down. the products look good but the details of the site, the basic design elements need a polish. plus i would lose the black strip overlaying the image...2nd site
nice idea, better than the first but again let down with bad typography and not sure about the use of black, looks awful (to be honest) and there's a lack of elegance which this site could do with.
