    ignorance is defined as a lack of knowledge. so i feel your statement is gravely mistaken.

    it is their detailed knowledge of the law that allows them to make the decisions they do.

    and to consider the circumstances that he 1. was breaking a law. 2. was given warning 3. did not obey a direct order from an officer, i don't really mind what happened

    ones own ignorance of the law is no excuse.

    and to berate an officer doing his job in another country and calling it news in yours is pretty far fetched to say the least
