so let me get this straight, man gets stranded in snow, abandons wife and children, walks off to die, wife and children survive waiting for rescue.
this man had no need in leaving his family like that. there is nothing in any survival book that defines his actions as appropriate
it seems to be funny to say when it's an obvious tool but in this case, not funny, again i'd say.
"survival of the fittest"
this mans actions seem selfish and for the good of the individual and not the community.
one failure at being rambo and the family grows up minus the father figure.
i hope everyone remembers the consequences of this mans actions, no matter how noble they may seem to be. the long term consequences are far more detrimental than his initial passing
