This is what was in the brief.....

    9.0 Content management
We need to be able to update the site ourselves (within the framework of the proposed design solution), as well as create and manage rich format emails using a content management system. We expect your proposed CMS to:

    • Have an intuitive interface
    • Be easy to learn and use by non-technical staff
    • Employ a tried and tested solution
    • Enable multiple users to contribute
    • Come with simple and easy to use workflow, approval and publish procedures
    • Allow users to preview changes as they would appear on the site
    • Have effective version control
    • Have back-up, recovery, restore and archive functionality
    • Enable the creation and management of html emails

It would be useful to see examples of previous content management systems you have implemented in similar organisations. The Estate assumes that training will be given to use the CMS and is interested to proposals about how this will be undertaken.
