DO NOT sign up to Dreamhost.
they have had mail problems, including no mail for months. the sites hosted there jkeep going down and as for customer service! It doesn't exist.Seriously - the service they provide is the worst I have ever come across.
From the moment I signed up I was treated like a moron. All the mail problems, according to them were 'problems with your set-up'. Even after I mailed them screengrabs of the settings etc they still wouldn't tell me what was wrong.
It wasn't until I threatened them with court action that they finally refunded my money even though they have a 97 day guarantee and my account was only a month old.I'm now with Netgator - http://secure.hostgator.com/cgi-…
