i just don't understand why there's this big resistance to global warming. What do you possibly have to lose by acting more responsible in terms of the environment? Even if everything about global warming is wrong, what do you lose by conserving energy? What do you lose by reducing emissions? What do you lose by consuming less oil and improving public transportation? I just don't get the arguments against it.
The only possible conceivable reason is that you're some sort of industrialist who doesn't want to pay big bucks to upgrade his pollution-spewing plant, cutting into his short term profits. But that should be the least of the people on here.
