Not as cool of a story, but a long time ago I was in the mall eating in the large food court, and I sit down at a table and instantly I can hear this man and a woman talking like they are at my table with me.
The acoustics of the room was sending the conversation of a couple about 60 yards away loud and clear into my ear. I asked the table next to me if they could hear them too and they looked at me like I was nuts.
The problem was the couple was talking about shit like
"Oh honey, I love you so much, I'm sorry that I'm so needy, I need to give you more space"
"No sweetie, it's ok... I need to love you more" and BLAH!
After 5 minutes of listening to their shmoopy love babble I got up and moved cause I couldn't take that shit anymore.
